Definition of muscular dystrophy :
Muscular dystrophy is in fact a broader term which is used to refer to a class of degenerative diseases most of which are genetic in nature and which result in the form of gradual wasting and weakness of the muscles of the human body.
There are lots of diseases which fall in the category of muscular dystrophy. The most important aspect of these diseases has been the fact that these diseases are genetic in nature and thus they are inherited by the patient suffering from these diseases.
In case of muscular dystrophy, muscular weakness is identified in the patient and the patient gets affected by muscular the generation and overall weakness of varying intensity and severity.
